Aims/priorities: In March 2020, Arnold Clark launched its first ever Community Fund to offer charitable organisations financial support in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. Following its most recent Winter Edition, the Fund has now reopened, with broader eligibility criteria to support a wide range of organisations.
The fund aims to help UK charities and local community groups continue their important work which may be at risk due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Suicide First Aid through Understanding Suicide Intervention course gives you the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.
The course has been accredited by City & Guilds of London.
Learning outcomes:
‘Future You’ is a free mentoring programme, delivered on behalf of Greater Manchester Combined Authority via funded by the European Social Fund. The programme is for 18-24 year olds who are classed as NEET (not in Education, Employment or Training). The young people are given a dedicated mentor who works with them 1:1 once a week for up to nine months, with a view to eventually progressing them into a job, apprenticeship, course, traineeship etc.
Aims/priorities: Working in partnership with the #iwill Fund and the Hunter Foundation, BBC Children in Need is delivering its new Social Action Fund to promote youth empowerment across the UK, as part of its wider Sharing Power programme.
Not-for-profit organisations which are registered with an appropriate governing body can apply for grants of up to £50,000 over 18 months; while unregistered organisations can apply for up to £15,000 over 18 months, or £10,000 over one year.
Aims/priorities: The ASDA Foundation is offering grants of between £500 and £1,500 for not-for-profit community groups throughout the United Kingdom to support activities for children under 18 years old to improve their lives and the community.
Through the U18 Better Starts Grants scheme, a total of £500,000 has been made available to give children the best start in life by tackling poverty, enabling inclusion, and enhancing wellbeing.

Aims/priorities: LocalGiving has launched its annual Magic Little Grants scheme for the fifth year in a row with more money than last year. With support from the six funding trusts from the People’s Postcode Lottery, it is expected that 2,650 charitable organisations will receive a grant of £500 each.
To be eligible, organisations must have an annual income under £250,000 or be in their first year of operation and operate within England, Scotland or Wales.
