The Oldham Community Centres Forum brings together managers or representatives of local VCFSE sector community centres and venues based in Oldham
The purpose of this Forum is:
- to support community development through:
- sharing knowledge and good practice
- sharing and pooling of resources
- forming connections and identifying opportunities to develop provision to meet the needs and aspirations of the communities that we work with
- to work to influence local decision making in support of the Forum's aims
- to provide a mutual exchange of information within the Forum, and between the Forum and key partners
- to facilitate the development of collaborative ideas and initiatives to further the aims of the centres and communities that we work with
We are a new forum and are developing our terms of reference and are working together to identify our key priorities.
We aim to meet in person every 2 months at different community venues.
