About Oldham Voices
We facilitate action groups and networks that bring together diverse perspectives to address the root causes of poverty and inequalities and advocate for the VCFSE to be heard and for local experiences and insight to shape decisions and enable social change.
Our vision is for a connected, resilient and diverse VCFSE sector that supports people and communities to do the things they love and change the things they don’t. Collectively we have the power to make things better, addressing the impacts and root causes of poverty and inequalities.
This Voice and Influence Model has been developed to support a structure for VCFSE sector voice and influence within decision making in and for Oldham.
Sector Representative Nominations Autumn 2025
As part of our voice and influence model we have agreed four places on each of the Oldham Partnership boards, groups, and partnership meetings for VCFSE sector representatives.
Your representatives
Following a nominations process agreed at the VCFSE Leaders Forum in September 2025 we now have a number of VCFSE sector representatives who have begun attending Partnership meetings on behalf of the sector. You can find a list of representatives below.

Oldham Voices eBulletin
A new eBulletin will be issued every two months to any Action Together member who signs up to receive it with back issues being made available on this page. This eBulletin will:
1. Summarise the issues being discussed at sector and cross-sector networks so that members are aware and informed
2. Provide updates on local, regional and national policy changes and developments that might impact you
3. Collate key messages from the sector so we can amplify and support one another by sharing consistent messages.
