About Oldham Voices

We facilitate action groups and networks that bring together diverse perspectives to address the root causes of poverty and inequalities and advocate for the VCFSE to be heard and for local experiences and insight to shape decisions and enable social change.

Our vision is for a connected, resilient and diverse VCFSE sector that supports people and communities to do the things they love and change the things they don’t. Collectively we have the power to make things better, addressing the impacts and root causes of poverty and inequalities.

This Voice and Influence Model has been developed to support a structure for VCFSE sector voice and influence within decision making in and for Oldham.

We have collated a list of the available roles and these are now open for expressions of interest. Those interested in taking on a role are asked to:

  2. Complete the short 'expression of interest' form: Expression of interest

The first round of nominations will take place at the VCFSE Leaders Forum meeting on 11.09.25 and those wishing to stand as a representative should attend if at all possible - register here. If you are interested in a role but unable to attend the meeting please do complete the expression of interest form and we will update you about the outcome after the Forum meeting.

Details of future rounds of nominations and a list of sector representatives will be posted on this page when available.

A new eBulletin will be issued every two months to any Action Together member who signs up to receive it with back issues being made available on this page. This eBulletin will:

1. Summarise the issues being discussed at sector and cross-sector networks so that members are aware and informed

2. Provide updates on local, regional and national policy changes and developments that might impact you
