The purpose of the FREE Stop Loan Sharks training session is to give your staff in-depth information about the project.
They will learn about key things to look out for as a frontline worker, the relevance of loan sharks for your organisation and a better understanding of information and
intelligence.
We will also show you the impact that loan sharks have on victims / communities and what you can do to help as a front-line worker.

This training is delivered by WealdBSL, who have an in-depth knowledge of deaf and disability issues.
Aims of the session
•To develop an awareness of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
•To have a clear idea of what to do if you are worried a child is in danger of suffering serious and significant harm
•To give staff and volunteers the opportunity of sharing ideas of best practice for safeguarding children
