1. Community Explorers Forums
Action Together's Community Development Workers facilitate monthly Community Explorers forums, to support grassroots groups and help organisations network in their neighbourhoods.
The purpose of these forums is to enable voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations in local communities to come together to share with each other information about the important work they are doing and to provide opportunities to collaborate. 2. Oldham Poverty Action Network
The Oldham Poverty Action Network meets with the overall aim to reduce the impact of poverty on the most vulnerable people in the borough of Oldham and in doing so support individuals, families, and communities to move from poverty to financial inclusion. Click here to find out more.

3. Oldham Food Solution Network
The Oldham VCFSE Food Solution Network provides oversight of food activity, supports shared ambitions and finding innovative ways of working which considers the impact of the food system as a whole. To establish a resilient food system that delivers food security for all; tackling inequalities, diet-related ill-health and the environmental impact of the food we produce and consume, whilst at the same time building prosperity through local wealth-building, making Oldham a great place to live, work and play.
The Food Solution Network is currently paused, we are doing some important work to align the spaces where the sector comes together around poverty aleviation, to make the best use of our time and energy!
4. Oldham VCFSE Women’s Network
The Oldham Women’s Network brings together women’s organisations in Oldham to focus on current impacts they are seeing amongst women and girls they work with. 5. Oldham Voluntary Sector Leadership Group (VSLG)
The purpose of the Voluntary Sector Leadership Group is to increase strategic influence and collaboration amongst Chief Executives and Senior Managers within Oldham VCFSE organisations. The Leadership Group works to enable the sector to strengthen it's voice and influence decision making through representatives with a mandate to speak on behalf of the sector on strategic boards and partnerships across the Oldham Partnership.

6. Oldham Community Champions Network
Oldham Community Champions Network brings together organisations who have received funding from Action Together’s Community Champions Programme. The purpose of the funding was to support people shown to be most at risk from Covid-19 including those from an ethnic minority background, disabled people and others to follow safer behaviours and reduce the impact of the virus on themselves and those around them. The initial health focus was extended into recovery, mitigating the impact of inequality and pastoral support for communities. Across 2022 the Community Champions Network has been evolving to focus more broadly on health inequalities.

7. Oldham Community Centres Forum
Oldham Community Centres Forum brings together managers or representatives of local VCFSE sector community centres and venues based in Oldham to share knowledge and good practice, share and pool resources, work together to influence local decision making and collaborate to develop ideas.
