A drop-in service providing information, signposting and advice on basic money matters.
Women's group covering topics and issues that affect Black African women. A brave and safe space where we are keynote listeners to women's issues for example cultural harmful practices and domestic violence.
The Pre School caters for children aged 2-5 in the local area. It aims to develop literacy,numeracy,language and social skills following the EYFS and offers practical support to both Parents and children. A warm space, open to anyone with free hot food and drinks; access to wi fi and a laptop; books, games, toys and jigsaws available.
Warm welcome space open to people of any age and children/ families very welcome.
Free hot snacks will be served such as jacket potatos, toasties, crumpets etc along with hot drinks and cake. Toys, books and jigsaws available.
We provide food and counselling for people in need.
During term time it is a play and activity club for preschool children and support for their parents.
During the winter months we provide a warm place for anyone to come to for a drink and a chat and a place to go.
We run several age group youth groups with games and activities with some religious input. Some away days are also organised including weekends away.
The Cascade drop in is open to anybody and is a place to meet and enjoy different activities that are free to all. The session is run by volunteers in the church , Tuesday 1:00pm-4:00pm. Its a great friendly atmosphere and here are some of the activities.
We have a new group called Alive! which will run on Wednesdays from 6.30 – 8.00pm. The group is for
9-13 year olds (school years 5/6-8) with lots of games, fun and activities so spread the word!
