Singing for the Brain is a programme using music, singing and gathering together to help meet the needs of people with dementia and their carers. We are trained as and working in partnership with Alzheimer's UK This will start on Jan 20th 2026

Every Thursday afternoon we do fun bingo and play three games for chocolates and we have tea/coffee and biscuits for £1. This offers people a chance to meet others and play some fun games.

VIC offer a variety of training courses as the needs arise. In the past we have held First Aid courses, IT sessions, drug awareness, volunteer training etc

Approximately once per quarter VIC arrange a social inclusion trip to a variety of locations, once a fortnight walks are arranged in the Lancashire / Greater Manchester areas

VIC host an art group (meet on Tuesdays and Friday) at the VIC centre and also a painting class in the style of Bob Ross on each Saturday and Sunday at the end of each month. Vic also host "Crafty Chatters" who meet each Monday between 10am - 12pm

Beavers, is the youngest section of Scouting operated by The Scout Association in the United Kingdom. The core age range for Beaver Scouts is six to eight years, though exceptions can be granted.

Cubs are an age-based section of The Scout Association for young boys and girls ages 8 to 10½. This section follows on from the Beaver Scouts (6-8 year olds) and Cubs will move on to Scouts at the age of 10½. The section originally opened as Wolf Cubs in 1916
