We open next door unit every Thursday while the pantry is open to use as a coffe morning, drop in for the community. We try to put on activities during this time.

We organise events around the UK where members of our online group can get together safely knowing that it is an organised event. Many members either live alone or come on their own as they feel comfortable knowing the Tavern Team are there.
We organise online events such as quizes, bingo, Live entertainment. These are open to anyone, families are welcome as members have to be over 18 to join but children can take part with their parents.
We provide online support for our members 24/7 and have admin in Canada to cover the evenings.

Mandala Yoga classes primarily aimed at adults and older young people, to support their emotional mental health. Using yoga movement, breathwork and meditation we create calm and safe environments enabling people to understand their emotional state and build resilience.

The Healthy Cooking on a budget group explores a wide range of easy to prepare and cheap to purchase meals. This group is led by Living Well.
This volunteer run group meets every Wednesday between 10am and 12 midday and costs only £1.50 per head for an unlimited supply of cake and tea or coffee and a surplus of friendly conversation.
Run by MIND, this support group provides a meeting place for those suffering the effects of anxiety or depression. This group meets and enjoys lunch together every Tuesday 1pm-3pm
The Men’s Group are a friendly bunch who meets every Wednesday between 1.30pm and 3.30pm to socialise, enjoy trivia and quiz games and offer their encouragement and support to each other.
Our computer skills drop-in is a session for those wishing to improve their general computer skills or for assistance with specific enquiries. As an extension of the mindfulness activities and in conjunction with Team Tuesdays, this time slot between 1.30pm and 2.20pm provides a space and time for some general arts and crafts fun. Anyone is welcome to attend!
Frank’s Fitness Challenge is the next step up from Frank’s low level fitness group, providing a more challenging but equally as enjoyable fitness challenge. This group meets every Friday between 10am and 11am and costs only £2 per session to join. No need to book in advance.
The sessions are split half fitness and strength training, the second half includes support including health and wellbeing.
We have a Communion Service on the first Thursday of each month which is delivered by the local Methodist Church with refreshments afterwards.
