Community Activities
Saheli (Female Friend) is a Indian Women's group started in 2009. All women members get together and carry out social, recreational and learning activities to develop confidence and build capacity to carry out various activities individually and in a group.
Women yoga club
This activity is the pre season junior indoor training sessions that take place through the winter months recruiting and attracting young people to the club and offering them an opportunity to become members of ACC before the summer months/season.
Similar to activity 1 but this is for adults ages 18+ targeting inclusion for our senior cricket sides and additional members we host sessions on Thursday's at 6pm - 7pm
Fully inclusive adult open age pre season winter training for all new members to feel welcome and join our community at Ashton CC. Community involvement physical activity and inclusion for everyone.
A yearly summer camp available free of charge to all young members of the community to get them involved in cricket and active, lunch covered 9:30am - 14:00pm.
Women's soft ball event end of season inclusive to all women/girls to get involved in the sport.
We provide games, camping and residential experiences for young people aged 6 - 18 years in addition to the mainstream Scouting skill sprogrammes
BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme is a trauma informed, accredited psychoeducational intervention to help women overcome the impacts of trauma and live a meaningful life.
Our survivors action forum is to make the survivors voice matter, by sharing their experiences within the system so we can create resources and support for professionals via the lived experience voice.
Operate a food bank offering food parcels to people who need assistance.

We deliver Home Tutoring to young people and adults who cannot access education due to mental health which includes those young people who are on DoLS, we tutor those that have hidden disabilities, such as High functioning Autism, sensory processing difficulties.
