• Know Your Neighbourhood

    Nature exploration around Greater Manchester including reservoirs, lakes, parks, etc. Participants will walk, socialise, see, and learn about their neighbour. This will have an impact on both mental and physical health. There are beautiful sites and history about our neighbourhood that a lot of people are not aware of. This initiative is for adults and families. Either single adult or family comprising of adult(s) and children who are physically fit to walk long distances (at least 2 miles).

    Hand in Hand Community CIC is a newly formed company aimed at providing inclusive activities to all children in our local
    communities, in Greater Manchester and Africa (Cameroon and Nigeria
    to start) with special focus on children and families from deprived backgrounds.

    Our activities will be varied and engaging; with the goal of developing the ‘whole family’ -with emphasis on their emotional and mental health as we support them acquire new skills. We will also provide
    training and support for parents to become the best parents they can be to be able to promote and support their children’s learning, growth, and development at home (which will include both 1-2-1 and group sessions).

    The Company aims to provide learning opportunities to disadvantaged families in Greater Manchester to empower them to make positive changes to achieve the best possible outcomes in life.
