Aims/priorities: Grants are available for small local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in England that are working to reduce loneliness and isolation by bringing people and communities together as the country recovers from the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.
The funding is to be used to:
Aims/priorities: The programme is part of a £40 million initiative announced by the Ministry of Justice in February 2021 for specialist support services to help survivors and victims of rape and domestic abuse during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
The grant funding will support activities and offer wrap-around support which improve digital and remote capacity, provide continuity in support and enhance future sustainability.
Aims/priorities: Funding is available for community groups in Greater Manchester that focus on food poverty, homelessness, mental health and wellbeing.
The One GM Community Fund is a partnership between the Greater Manchester’s Mayor’s Charity and Forever Manchester, distributing money generously raised by the Greater Manchester community to support those most affected by the Covid crisis across the area.
Aims/priorities: Through the Jigsaw Foundation, Jigsaw Group provides a community funding programme to support local projects run by charities, resident and community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and partner agencies in the North West and East Midlands.
The Jigsaw Foundation funding programme seeks to make a difference to the lives of Jigsaw Homes Group residents and their communities through projects in the following areas:
Aims/priorities: In light of easing of coronavirus restrictions, the new scheme Bringing Communities Back Together aims to support local groups by providing two tranches of funding (Phase 1 and Phase 2), aimed at supporting a celebration event or enabling activities and services to get back on track after the disruption of the pandemic.

Aims/priorities: The scheme is part of the Government's Action Against Hate - The UK Government’s Plan for Tackling Hate Crime. It will provide protective security measures to places of worship that have been subject to, or are vulnerable to a hate crime attack. In a bid to tackle the increasing number of hate crimes directed at religious buildings, the Government is making the funding available to places of worship so that they can purchase extra security equipment. The funding can cover the costs of up to three security measures from the following list:
Aims/priorities: A bike library is a simple concept. It’s a location where people can go to borrow a bike for free. Access to a bike is an issue in Greater Manchester (GM) with up to 75% of households not having one available. Therefore, even with the high-quality infrastructure being installed in many areas, if individuals do not have the ability to try it, maximum usage will not be achieved.

Aims/priorities: The Ernest Cook Trust is an educational charity with a vision for ‘an environmentally engaged society’.
The COVID pandemic has demonstrated how important being outdoors is to the mental and physical wellbeing of everyone. It has also highlighted inequalities in people’s abilities to access the outdoors. Research commissioned by The Ernest Cook Trust has identified that transport costs are a key barrier for schools to access Outdoor Learning.
Aims/priorities: The Tameside Holiday Activity & Food Fund (HAF) has been developed though the department of education (DFE) to engage and deliver interventions to a large cohort of young people from aged 6 years up to 16 (Currently in School year 11). There are 9,554 young people in Tameside who receive free school meals, the main aim of this programme is to engage with these young people over the school holiday period to offer FREE holiday activities supported with interventions and to provide them with food during the daytime, this will also be underpinned
