Aims/priorities: The ESF Moving-On round seeks applications from a wide range of voluntary organisations who are ready to reach out by using approaches which tackle the new and emerging barriers arising from the impact of COVID 19, working both remotely and within social distancing requirements, once restrictions are eased. 

Aims/priorities: Grants are available to support the development of projects that have the potential to bring new life to high streets by creating alternative uses for redundant or underused historic buildings in town centres. Funding can be used for individual heritage buildings in, or transferring to, community ownership or that of charitable/social enterprise organisations.

Aims/priorities: Grants are available to help small BAME led VCSE organisations to respond to the needs of their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Activities must be expected to end by 30 June 2021.

Applications should be in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and will need to show how they have taken into account government guidance about keeping people safeand must be for at least one of the below:

Aims/priorities: The Women Thrive Fund is provided by Rosa and Smallwood Trust working in partnership. The funding comes from the Government's Tampon Tax Fund.

This fund has been created by Rosa and Smallwood Trust in response to the ‘devastating’ impact that the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic has had on women and girls across the UK.

The funding is intended to enable women’s and girls’ organisations to respond to the crisis and support women and girls to overcome the barriers they face due to the pandemic.

Aims/priorities: The Idea Fund is a micro fund for individuals (or small groups or organisations) who have a novel technical idea which they want to try out. Proposals for projects will be welcomed that:

• Are based on a novel technical idea.
• Would deliver a social or environmental benefit.
• Are intriguing, inventive and have an element of fun.

This is a doing fund. It only covers the costs of making and/or testing the idea itself. The fund does not cover payment for people's time or marketing/promotion costs.

MHCLG Community Champions Programme - Oldham

Background

In January this year, Oldham Council was awarded funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s (MHCLG) Community Champions programme.

MHCLG’s stated purpose of the funding is to “support people shown to be most at risk from Coronavirus (COVID-19) including those from an ethnic minority background, disabled people and others to follow safer behaviours and reduce the impact of the virus on themselves and those around them.”

Aims/priorities:Satellite clubs provide opportunities for 14-19 year olds to take part regularly in physical activity and sport through the creation of enjoyable, convenient club opportunities that are designed around their needs and provide a positive experience of being active.
