Eco Streets

Aims/priorities: The Eco-Streets competition seeks to transform two un-used, un-loved areas in Greater Manchester into spaces that feature nature-based-solutions to climate change.

With support from Groundwork, Eco-Streets will equip communities with the skills to design, install and maintain natural features to create vibrant, green community spaces to benefit people while tackling climate change.

Transformable spaces could include Alleyways or ‘Ginnels’, Small Streets, Courtyards, Dis-used Allotments or Abandoned Park areas.

CDL Fund

Aims/priorities: The Fund aims to support the activities of local community or voluntary groups and projects that contribute positively to the quality of life, wellbeing and improved health of people and communities which address any or all of the priorities listed below:

Community Support Fund 2021

Aims/priorities: The Community Support Fund is now accepting applications from y organisations in Greater Manchester who are supporting those suffering from hardship as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are prioritising applications which are providing a service in direct response to community hardship created by the Covid-19 pandemic. This could be for responding to ongoing emergency needs or for making changes to how you work so that you can continue to help those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic over the coming months.

The Auto Trader Community Fund

Aims/priorities: The Auto Trader Community Fund aims to encourage and support grassroots community organisations. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like.  We don’t want to limit the type of request you can make. You just need to let us know what you want to do and what positive things your activity will provide for those in your community.

Grants to Grow

Aims/priorities: The Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership are leading a programme to improve mental health support and services for families in pregnancy and the first two years of a child’s life.

Grants to Grow aims to build the capacity of the VCSE sector to support parents facing challenges relating to the maternity experience, including:

The Ideas Fund

Aims/priorities: The Ideas Fund is a grants programme run by the British Science Association and funded by Wellcome, which enables the UK public to develop and try out ideas that address problems related to mental wellbeing. We want to promote diversity and inclusion by supporting great, innovative ideas that focus on improving mental wellbeing.

We will help communities tackle the problems that matter to them by connecting them with research professionals so they can work together to bring their ideas to life and both build new skills and relationships.
