Aims/priorities: Funding is available to support organisations
Aims/priorities: We are a grant making foundation giving grants to small and medium sized local organisations in the UK with a demonstrable track record of success working to address local issues in communities of extreme urban deprivation and deprived rural districts. Our preference is for front line organisations working directly with people in need. We are unlikely to support campaigning, organisational development or capacity building.
Aims/priorities: The Weavers’ Company Benevolent Fund was set up in 1973 with funds from The Worshipful Company of Weavers, which is the oldest City of London Livery Company. The fund's priorities are:
1. Supporting offenders and ex-offenders
Aims/priorities: The Ambition for Ageing programme is supporting places to become more age-friendly by showing how a place can change through small projects and how projects can work together to make neighbourhoods different.
Aims/priorities: BURG-WÄCHTER is Europe’s largest safe and post box manufacturer, with its UK head office and distribution facility based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
**To help secure funding for local recycling projects, the funders are hosting two free workshops. There are two dates available; Thursday May 6 at 6pm and Saturday May 8 at 10am. To secure a place register here or email gmenvfund@lancswt.org.uk.**
Aims/priorities: The Onward Community Fund aims to support local groups and projects. Underpinned by their mission ‘To make a positive difference in the communities we serve’ groups can bid for up to £2,500 for their neighbourhood. Examples could include: IT training, youth projects or community events.
Projects should aim to address one or more of the following:
Aims/priorities: Community groups across the UK are being invited to apply for funding for local projects that matter to them.
The Tesco Community Grant scheme will award grants to charities and community organisations to fund local good causes whose focus is on supporting children and families.
Originally launched in 2016 as Bags of Help the scheme has supported over 36,000 community groups with more than £86million in grants since 2016, including 2,000 sports teams and 1,400 groups supporting vulnerable older people.
Aims/priorities: The Fund will award grants to help peer support groups to connect remotely, prepare to move their activities to face-to-face, or make their group more sustainable. The peer support, mutual aid or self-help group must benefit people or communities who live with mental ill-health, trauma and distress.
