Aims/priorities: Persimmon Community Champions is here to fund good causes across the UK and have supported thousands of community groups and charities over the years, but from 1st April for the foreseeable future, they want to focus on organisations that support the over-70s – a vulnerable group in society that Persimmon Community Champions feel need their support at this time.

Who can apply? Community groups and charities

Grant amount: Grants of up to £1,000 are available 

Aims/priorities: Each year RBH makes grants of up to £5000 available for the benefit of our communities. We are able to award grants that enable the delivery of the following objectives: 

Aims/priorities: The BlueSpark Foundation’s objective is to fund or part-fund projects that aim to improve the education and development of children and young people by means of educational, cultural, sporting or other activities.  The funding is intended to support projects that have the following objectives:

Aims/priorities: The Resilience & Recovery Loan Fund (RRLF) is a new fund for social enterprises and charities who are experiencing disruption to their normal business model as a result of COVID-19. It has been established to make an existing government scheme (the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme) more easily accessible to charities and social enterprises. The RRLF is being run by Social Investment Business (SIB) with an initial £25m investment and support from Big Society Capital. 

Aims/priorities: The Trust only make grants for ongoing core funding to groups which support:

Aims/priorities: Applicants should be working to produce significant impact in one of the following priority areas: youth opportunities, general welfare, conservation, preservation, Africa, and peace and humanitarian support. Grant-making will be focused on:

Aims/priorities: This grant scheme support for teachers, teaching assistants, nursery workers, caretakers and lunch supervisors who have worked within the education sector for at least five years. The grants can be used to help with bills, household costs, travel or other essentials. They are not loans and it costs you nothing to apply.

Aims/priorities: The trust supports organisations that:

• Provide hospice care
• Provide support for the homeless
• Promote health and wellbeing – areas of support under this heading have included physical and learning disability, physical and mental health and social challenge and deprivation. They look to support organisations in this category with an annual income of below £250,000.

During this unprecedented crisis until further notice they will not be considering grants for capital projects of any nature. 

Aims/priorities: We support organisations who help people who are lonely and isolated, by giving free free TVs, tablets, and radios for clients. This technology is often used in communal spaces or as part of specific projects. For people who are lonely, a simple radio, television, or tablet can feel like a lifeline and we help people who have become lonely through lots of different circumstances. Some of these include:

Aims/priorities: The Community Grants programme is intended to act as a helping hand to projects and initiatives across the UK that seek to bring music to their community. The funding is aimed at groups that need assistance to fulfil their potential in developing truly sustainable music programmes.

Typically, community grants are given for the purchase of instruments, associated equipment or for teaching costs. However, all applications are judged on their merit and other project elements may also be considered.
