National Survivor User Network (NSUN) - Sustaining Spaces Fund

Aims/priorities: National Survivor User Network (NSUN) is a membership organisation and a network of community groups and people who have experience of mental distress, ill-health and trauma which carries out campaigning and advocacy work.

Funding is intended to support the continuation of spaces which promote connection and healing among communities facing marginalisation or oppression.

Who can apply? To be eligible to apply, groups must:

KFC Foundation Community Grants Programme

Aims/priorities: The Foundation works with organisations who are empowering young people in the UK to fulfil their potential by providing safe social spaces, mentoring or work, and social skills.  The Foundation aims to fund work that helps young people create firm foundations, by addressing their needs through early intervention.

Who can apply? Registered charities, registered community interest companies, unincorporated clubs or associations or unregistered charities in the UK, with a turnover of less than £300,000 can apply.

Santander Foundation - Financial and Digital Empowerment Fund

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to support community organisations that are working with people in society who are experiencing disadvantage - whether through age, education, income, disability or unemployment - to equip them with improved digital and financial literacy skills.

Who can apply?  Applications will be accepted from charitable and social enterprise organisations with an annual income above £75,000. Applicants must:

Motability - Reducing Barriers to Driving Programme

Aims/priorities: Grants are available to local not-for-profit groups for projects which improve and expand private transport options for disabled people and their families in the UK.

Who can apply? Medium to large charities and organisations with established ways of working may apply.

Grant amount: Grants of £100,000 to £2 million are available. They can be split over one, two or three years

Warburtons Families Matter Community Grants Programme

Aims/priorities: The principle aim of this funding is to focus on supporting families that need help the most, in a way which adheres to their principles of transparency, trust and transformation.

The aim of these small community grants is to support projects, activities and organisations that will be of real direct benefit to families and have a direct and tangible social impact on people’s lives.

Funding is provided by Warburtons, a family run bakery business.

Manchester Guardian Society Charitable Trust

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended for a wide range of charities and other community organisations which provide charitable benefits for communities within Greater Manchester. The Trust is especially interested in funding organisations for young people, provision for the sick, the disabled, the elderly and disadvantaged, as well as educational initiatives by Arts organisations and support for community groups.

Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Police Trust

Aims/priorities: Grants are available for not-for-profit groups and organisations across Greater Manchester to support projects that increase the quality of life of local communities through the prevention of crime, the protection of people and property from criminal activity, and the advancement of education regarding alcohol, drugs, and other solvent abuse.
