Aims/Priorities: The Foundation will be awarding grants to UK registered charities delivering work which supports babies during the 1001 critical days – from pregnancy to the age of two.
They will fund a variety of projects, reflecting the diverse ways in which babies and families might need additional support. This could include, but is by no means limited to:
- Support during pregnancy such as antenatal education programmes
- Infant feeding support
- Parenting programmes
- Parent-infant relationship support
- Perinatal mental health support
Who can apply? In order to be eligible you must:
- Be a UK registered charity
- Have at least three unrelated trustees
- Have been established for at least two years
- Have at least one set of accounts published on the Charity Commission website
Grant Amount: In the first funding round, the Foundation will be awarding £1,000,000 in grants.
There is no minimum amount you can apply for. You can apply for up to £100,000 per year, for a period of up to five years.
While the Foundation are open to a range of requests, they expect that most grants awarded will fall between £20,000 and £100,000 per year, typically for three to five years.
