Aims/priorities: Funding for the July 2025 round is focused solely on registered charities supporting people experiencing homelessness. The grants are to provide, maintain, repair or improve housing or community space for these charities.
Please note this focus may be adjusted for future rounds. Details of the future rounds will be provided when they become available.
Who can apply? UK registered charities based and working in the UK can apply.
Charities will need a published profile on Neighbourly in order to apply.
For the July 2025 round, charities must be supporting people experiencing homelessness.
Grant amount: There are two levels of grants:
- Up to £5,000 for garden projects
- Up to £10,000 for building or indoor projects.
The B&Q Foundation will consider awarding higher value grants.
Application process: The guidance notes and FAQs can be found on the B&Q Foundation website.
The application process is managed by Neighbourly. Groups will need to create a profile on the Neighbourly platform as part of the B&Q Foundation application process. The profile can also be used to access other types of support on the Neighbourly platform.
Charities are notified about the outcome of their application by email within eight weeks of the round closing.
Please note, if the B&Q Foundation receives a large number of eligible applications in one round, they may chose not to open the following round and allocate instead from applications already received.
