Aims/priorities: A lack of safe and secure cycle parking is a significant barrier to people building cycling into their daily lives. The provision of cycle parking alongside infrastructure is therefore key to the success of new schemes. To support organisations within Greater Manchester to deliver new cycle parking facilities which will support schemes across the region, TfGM is once again offering active travel grants for GM businesses, employers and organisations.

Aims/priorities: The Women & Girls Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities that are working to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls in England and Scotland. The Women & Girls Match Fund campaign is led by The Big Give – the UK’s leading platform for match funding – and supported by Rosa Fund, who are women and girls grantmaking specialists. I.G. Advisors, experts in social and environmental change, will also be supporting organisations that take part. 

Aims/priorities: The Morrisons Foundation awards grant funding for charity projects which make a positive difference in local communities

Who can apply? Charities that have been registered for a minimum of one year

Grant amount: In the main grants are available to fully fund projects up to £25,000

Aims/priorities: Dementia United want to help grass roots dementia carers organisations to help carers get back on their feet after this difficult time with the Dementia Carers Groups Bounce Back Fund. 

Who can apply? Applications are open to groups working with carers of people affected by mild cognitive impairment and dementia including charities/Community Interest Companies / Community Interest Organisations.  Joint applications from groups with a host organisation that can hold funds for them are also welcome.

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support UK-registered charities in the UK and internationally in the areas of health, poverty, education, and the environment.

Who can apply? UK-registered charities operating both in the UK and internationally can apply. Priority will be given to small-and-medium-sized charities with an income of less than £2 million per annum. 

Grant amount: Grants tend to be in the range of £1,000 to £10,000.

Aims/priorities: The funding is for community and faith/beliefs organisations to drive awareness, understanding and behaviour change. Trusted local organisations can be effective at achieving these goals due to their specialist knowledge, understanding and footprint in the community.This year, the scheme is seeking applications across the following areas of activity:

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended for community arts and culture groups with community-led arts and culture projects, with a focus on equality and inclusion, and which approach the subject of dying in an innovative or creative way.

Who can apply? Applications are accepted from community arts and culture groups. Applicants must be a registered charity, a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) or a community interest company (CIC).

Grant amount: Two types of grants are available:

Aims/priorities: this fund aims to enrich and improve the quality of life of sick children in hospitals and hospices in any area of the UK. Funding is intended to help provide a wide range of support to patients, families, and staff, including the provision of medical and sensory equipment, free family accommodation, arts and play activities, music therapy sessions, and respite care.

Who can apply? Registered charities, hospitals and hospices can apply.

Tameside Arts' Gaming Club has been a great success, proving to be their most successful after-school club with over twenty youth members.

Action Together supported the club with a Community Wellbeing Microgrant. The fund provides grants of up to £1,000 to support projects or activities delivered by Tameside and Glossop based Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise groups that:
