Caring and Sharing Rochdale Show Quality in Action

Caring and Sharing Rochdale have been awarded Action Together's Quality in Action Award!

The award is a recognised framework for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations working across Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside. Quality in Action is an independent, local seal of approval which demonstrates an organisation's commitment to quality assurance & continuous improvement.

Greater Manchester – Breathe Better Air Community Fund

Aims/priorities:

The Breathe Better Air Community Fund is provided by a partnership between UK Community Foundation and the Clean Air Fund (CAF) and is administered by Forever Manchester.

This fund aims to support the clean air movement by supporting projects that raise public awareness and, projects that promote better air quality in communities through education, research, and practical activities and enabling them to become effective community air quality campaigners.

Who can apply?

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales - d/Deaf and Disabled People's Organisations

Aims/priorities:

The funding is for organisations who are led by the communities they serve and alongside providing immediate crisis support and working with people over the longer term to help them break free from poverty and achieve their potential.

Applicants must be delivering their services in the following ways:

Rochdale Communities Fund - Recovery Communities Fund

Aims/priorities:

Rochdale Borough Council have received Section 31 grant funding for additional investment in substance misuse treatment. Part of this includes funding to support the development and expansion of recovery community and peer support networks to increase the visibility of recovery and support social integration.

Thanks to this funding from Rochdale Borough Council, Action Together is pleased to launch the Developing Recovery Communities fund.

Applications should meet at least one of the following priorities:

Rochdale Communities Fund - Racial Inequality Learning Programme Grants

Aims/priorities: 

Action Together have secured some investment from the former Clinical Commissioning Group to curate an anti-racism learning programme for the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector – this could include paid staff, volunteers, trustees or community leaders. We are inviting members to apply via our usual application process to support this programme.

Poundland Foundation - Kits 4 Kids

Aims/priorities:

The Poundland Foundation are a grant-making charity, supporting both national charity partners and smaller organisations across the UK. They have pledged to distribute over £3m in donations over the next two years.

The Foundation brings together donations from Poundland customers, fundraising initiatives, and Poundland suppliers.

The Foundation aims to transform communities and change lives across the UK by making grants to charities and grass-roots community organisations.
