Aims/priorities: The Trust’s stated policy is to assist projects engaged in the relief of human suffering in the UK or overseas, particularly those with a Christian emphasis and ethos.

Who can apply? UK registered charities are eligible to apply.

Grant amount: Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees. Each application will be assessed individually and assessed on its own merits, however, an average grant would be a small one-off amount in the region of £1,000 to £3,000.

Aims/priorities: The Memorial Grant Scheme is a VAT reclaim scheme which means the funding is intended to cover the costs of VAT already paid.

The funding is intended for registered charities or faith groups excepted from registering as a charity to help with the cost of works like repairing and cleaning public memorials or installing a new memorial. 

The memorial can commemorate a person/people, an animal/s or event/s.

Aims/priorities: The Trust aims to make it possible for artists and those presenting their work to undertake and complete projects when frustrated by lack of funds. It is committed to helping artists and art institutions and galleries that depart from the routine and signal new, distinct and imaginative sets of possibilities.

Who can apply? Funding priority is given to artists in the fine arts and small organisations and galleries within the UK.

Aims/priorities: The Royal Countryside Fund launched their new strategy on 26 April 2024 in which they set out their vision for the Fund’s work over the next four years (2024 to 2028). 

Aims/priorities: The Capacity Building Fund is designed to support the creation of a sight loss sector that is coherent, sustainable, and resilient to the rising demand for equal service provision across the UK.

The fund offers unrestricted grants for organisations in the sight loss sector across the UK whose growth and sustainability are challenged by the uncertain economic climate and cost of living crisis.

The grants will focus on two key areas:

Aims/priorities: BThe Fore provides unrestricted grants to small charities and social enterprises based in the UK.

The funding is intended to have a transformational impact on the organisations being supported by unlocking exponential growth, sustainability, efficiency or some other major step forward.

There is particular interest in grassroots organisations working with underserved communities.

The grants are viewed by the Fore as investments in the organisations it supports.

The Fore funds work across the following charitable sectors:

Aims/priorities: The objective of this funding is to support organisations in Greater Manchester that provide essential services to victims of crime whether reported the crime or not. The funds can be used to cover expenses related to the priority funding themes detailed below. This financial support aims to enhance the capacity of victims' services organisations to deliver their services effectively and of a high quality.

Aims/priorities: The programme is designed to create a partnership of support to community groups, operating within two miles of a One Stop store, who are working to:

• Tackle food poverty.
• Support the vulnerable.
• Support the elderly.
• Support low income families.
• Running youth sports teams.
• Reducing/recycling waste
• Improving the environment

Aims/priorities: Grants are available to support capital works on church buildings or towards the capital costs of church community projects in the UK.

Who can apply? Applications are accepted from all churches of the Protestant tradition in the UK, but particularly those of the United Reformed and Congregational denominations.

Applicants will need to provide their latest church annual report and full accounts including balance sheet, notes to the accounts and any overview/directors' report.
