Oldham Warm Hub Investment 2025
This investment is for community venues in Oldham that are providing a safe & welcoming space for people to come & keep warm with a range of other services available such as hot drinks, food, internet access & other activities.
With the high costs of energy & continued pressures on household bills we know it is getting harder for people to keep warm at home. In addition to the Warm Banks being provided by Oldham Council at a number of local libraries we are aware that some community venues in Oldham are providing a safe & welcoming space for people to come keep warm with a range of other services available such as hot drinks, food, internet access & other activities.
A small amount of funding was available for those community venues in Oldham that are already providing open access to their community to a warm hub as a contribution towards the additional costs incurred of that provision including the costs of utilities & staff.
