Communities for Afghans Scheme - Phase 2 Funding

Aims/priorities: The aim is to provide households with the tools that they need to integrate into society and promote cohesion between households and their local communities so that they can participate fully in UK life.

The funding is for VCSE organisations to become 'Principal Sponsors' that recruit 'community Sponsor Groups' who come together to support a resettled household by sourcing accommodation for a period of three-years and providing integration support.

BBC Children in Need - Pudsey Next Steps

Aims/Priorities: The Pudsey Next Steps funding programme was established to help achieve greater equity, diversity and inclusion in BBC Children in Need grant-making.

The funding is intended to reach under-served and marginalised children and young people who may be affected by challenges including poverty, discrimination, and exclusion. For example, this could include care experienced or disabled children and young people. It may include racially minoritised children and young people.

Cyber Local Programme

Aims/Priorities: Cyber Local is a UK government scheme to deliver tailored support for the cyber security sector across the regions.

By tapping into local know-how, Cyber Local funds initiatives which support the growth of cyber security ecosystems, promote partnerships, and increase cyber security skills and careers opportunities.

Community Shares Booster Fund

Aims/Priorities: The Booster Fund supports new and existing community businesses in England that are at all stages of launching a community share issue.

This includes the very early stages of exploring whether it is the right choice, through planning a community share issue to being ready to launch, or in exceptional cases, recently launched
