Vernon Charitable Foundation

Aims/priorities: The Foundation will support local charities providing public benefit in Stockport, Cheshire and Greater Manchester, focused on the prevention and relief of poverty and community development.

Archives Revealed - Scoping Grants

Aims/priorities: The funding is for an independent consultant to produce an expert collections report (or scoping report) on a full or partial archival collection, for which the contents are unknown in detail, but which is significant and of interest to the public.

The aims of the Scoping Grant programme are to enable grantees to:

Sport England - Movement Fund

Aims/priorities: The funding aims to get more people active and increase sports participation across England.

Priority will be given to projects where there is the most need.

There is particular interest in projects providing opportunities for groups facing barriers to activity, such as: 

Innovation for All Foundation

Aims/priorities: The funding is for activities that meet the Fund’s  theme of  'Innovation for good' and its objective of 'through innovation, to sustainably provide benefit for those in need'. 

Successful applicants will be selected by employee vote.

Who can apply? Registered charities based in the UK or overseas may apply.

Applicants must supply:

Historic Houses Foundation

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support the repair and conservation of rural historic buildings and structures in England and Wales, including their gardens, grounds and outbuildings. Grants for the restoration and conservation of works of art in historic house collections open to the public will also be considered. 

Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme

Aims/priorities: The scheme makes grants towards the VAT incurred in maintenance and repairs to listed buildings that are primarily used for public worship, or which are listed places of worship owned by, or under the authority of, a number of specified organisations that look after redundant places of worship.

The scheme applies to listed places of worship of all religions and faith groups throughout the UK.

Who can apply? The scheme applies to listed buildings that are mainly used as a place of public worship.

Naturewatch Foundation - Pet Rescue Grant

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to help frontline animal welfare services provide a second chance to pets who have been exploited for profit.

Who can apply? Applications will be considered from registered non-profit organisations in the UK, including:

Hinrichsen Foundation

Aims/priorities: The Hinrichsen Foundation offers grants to support organisations and individuals undertaking projects to promote music.

Who can apply? Individuals, organisations, and charities in the UK are eligible to apply.

Priority will be given to projects involving composers and activity based in the UK, though activity does not have to occur solely in the UK.

Projects that are composer or artist-led are encouraged.

Applications for small grants from large organisations may not be prioritised.
