Following a brief pause of this fund to review the impact of the lockdown restrictions that all of England is now under, we’ve made three changes to the fund criteria to ensure we better help clubs and organisations:

Aims/priorities: The COVID-19 Frontline Women’s Fund is being delivered by Smallwood Trust. The National Lottery Community Fund has committed almost £500,000 to the fund, which will be used to provide support to organisations that are working with women most at risk of poverty and financial hardship due to the pandemic.  The aims of the fund are:

Aims/priorities: Power to Change has launched the Community Business Renewal Initiative, in response to the COVID-19 crisis and the £3million Community Business Renewal Fund is part of this support package for the community business sector.The Community Business Renewal Fund provides grants of between £10,000 and £20,000 to community businesses in England affected by the Covid-19 crisis to adapt, renew and rebuild their business so they can remain financially viable.

Aims/priorities: They will be allocating grants to increase their support for Black-led social enterprises, as well as charities with ethnic minority beneficiaries. They want to fund projects which help to build an inclusive culture and tackle racial inequality. The size of the grants depend on their scale, acvitiy and impact of the social enterprise.

Who can apply? Black-led social enterprises and charities with ethnic minority beneficiaries.

Grant amount: Between £2,000 and £25,000.

Aims/priorities: In response to the current crisis the Community Dividend Fund will provide immediate financial support for local good causes, community groups and charities who are responding to some of the most worrying impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many charities and organisations are suffering financial hardship due to the pandemic - incomes have fallen, demand has risen. In particular, they know that providing the basics including food has become a challenge for many people.  Isolation and lack of access to normal services means that mental heal

Aims/priorities: The B&Q Foundation wants to help local communities shape the spaces that means so much to them. It will provide grants to local charities to support communities with projects to improve homes or a community space. They want to fund projects that support people experiencing bad housing or homelessness, as well as community projects looking to improve their spaces.

Aims/priorities: This grants programme is designed to help tackle the disproportionate impact of COVID 19 on BAME communities. The grants programme has three sections:

Aims/priorities: GMCVO, working in partnership with 10GM, have launched a grants programme to support adults from communities of identity or experience, based in Greater Manchester, that may struggle to achieve higher levels of mental wellbeing.
