Aims/priorities: Comic Relief and National Emergencies Trust’s The Global Majority Fund, distributed by the Muslim Charity Forum, makes grants of up to £10,000 to registered charities or CICs with an annual income under £500,000. Applicants must be organisations that are led by individuals from and/or focused on communities experiencing racial inequality and the emergency needs within these communities within the UK.

Aims/priorities: The Skelton Charity supports educational establishments providing equipment or capital support that benefit disadvantaged children. For example, special needs schools, educational learning centres and museums and outdoor education centres. We also support the costs of providing holidays and breaks for children in need. They also support uniformed organisations, village halls and community centres, youth clubs outdoor centres, sports centres and playing field.

Aims/priorities: The Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership is pleased to be able to offer a funded development opportunity for 10 Perinatal & Parent-Infant Mental Health (PIMH) Champions from VCSE groups across the city-region. This work is aimed at increasing the knowledge of perinatal and parent-infant mental health in voluntary and community organisations that work specifically with diverse communities including BAME communities and LGBTQI+ communities.

Aims/priorities: The Strategic Legal Fund (SLF) for migrant groups in the UK is a fund to support legal work in the UK that goes beyond securing justice for an individual and makes a significant contribution to law, practice and procedures to uphold and promote the rights of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants more generally.

The SLF aims to tackle injustices and inconsistencies in law and practice that disadvantage or discriminate against asylum seekers, refugees and migrants as a result of their migration status.

Aims/priorities: The Ford Britain Trust offers grant funding to not-for-profit organisations, registered charities and schools for projects which benefit the local community and environment, children and young people, mainstream schools and education, special needs education and people with disabilities. Preference  is given to Essex, including East London, Southampton, Daventry, Manchester, Liverpool, and Bridgend (South Wales).

Aims/priorities: Grants are available for projects in the UK concerned with heritage preservation and social welfare, especially improving the life chances of vulnerable members of society (particularly women and girls). The Trustees are particularly keen to assist projects which have encountered difficulties in raising funds from other sources, and to fund projects which will make a significant impact in their chosen area.

Aims/priorities: The Foundation helps disadvantaged and underprivileged youth, affording them an opportunity they might not otherwise have. They focus their very limited funds on helping young people in a broader range of projects that will help them fulfil their potential, or get their life back on track, in whatever way they need.

Over the past year, Covid-19 has upended everything about our lives. We have lost so much, and yet people and communities have come together to support each other through it. As much as Key Workers and the NHS, volunteers and communities have been at the heart of our crisis response and we want to mark and celebrate this.

The stories we tell are powerful. Alongside our love for the NHS and our gratitude to Key Workers, we want to celebrate the power of kindness and the vital work of neighbours, communities and volunteers.

Aims/priorities: Funding is available to organisations that are supporting children and young people of 18 years and under who are experiencing disadvantage through:

• Illness, distress, abuse or neglect.
• Any kind of disability.
• Behavioural or psychological difficulties.
• Living in poverty or situations of deprivation.

Applications have to show how this funding will make a difference to children and young people’s lives during this crisis.
