Aims/priorities: The Open Fund for Organisations supports high-quality new music projects and not programmes. Projects must involve the creation, performance and promotion of new music and enable songwriters, composers, artists, bands and performers of all backgrounds to develop creatively and professionally. The Foundation will prioritise expenditure that will have a direct and obvious impact on music creator development.

Projects must fit with all three of the Foundation's funding priorities:

Aims/priorities: The purpose of this open access programme is to support cultural organisations to adjust buildings and equipment so that they can operate safely post-pandemic and improve access, seize on technological opportunities, and reduce environmental impact.

The longer-term impacts Arts Council England expects to see from this programme are:

Aims/priorities: The September round - 'A supportive home - helping families to overcome challenges' - is being provided in partnership with Comic Relief, which has invested £2 million of its funds.

Aims/priorities: The Bikeability Trust distributes grant funding on behalf of the Department for Transport to fund Bikeability training for children in England.

Aims/priorities: The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund has launched a new grants strategy for 2021. This year, the Trust’s primary focus is to help support the needs of young carers and young people caught up in the criminal justice system.

Aims/priorities: The One GM Community Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. The Fund will support projects working in one of the following thematic areas:

• Families and individuals experiencing food poverty
• Support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness
• Community based mental health and well-being support

Should the Fund be oversubscribed the first two themes will be prioritised.

Aims/priorities: The Made By Sport Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community sports groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester who are working with children and young people. The Fund aims to support organisations which are able to demonstrate that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected their ability to deliver their usual activities. 

Specifically, we will fund clubs and organisations which can demonstrate that they are using sport to work towards one or more of the following outcomes:

Aims/Priorities: Not-for-profit organisations across England can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to be used for projects that fit with one of Comic Relief’s four strategic themes:

Ashley Penty-Williams, is the CEO of St. Mark Universal Care, the charity that owns and manages Werneth Grange in Oldham. 

Thursday the 30th September they are launching their new free weekly meal for anyone who is homeless or in need of our support. 

The meal will be provided every Thursday at Werneth Grange, Grange Avenue, Oldham, OL8 4EL between 7pm and 8.30pm.

ABL (A Better Life) which is a partner organisation of Oldham Council would like to reach out to community groups to offer an opportunity for Lorraine Greathead who is the lead specialist stop smoking practitioner for East Oldham to come and talk to community groups/community meetings or have a stand at community events.
