Aims/priorities: From 2023, NCS will be awarding two different types of grants to local organisations delivering community-based experiences at a grassroots level, for the first time.
Aims/priorities: The funding aims to support small-scale organisations that provide children's summer playschemes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds that run in the summer holidays.
Who can apply? UK registered charities, community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations or exempt charities with an annual turnover of less than £100,000 can apply.
Grant amount: One-off grants of between £500 and £1,000 are available. Around 35 grants are made per year.

The Barclays Community Football Fund, in partnership with Sported, is a three-year programme, running from January 2022 to December 2024. During this time, it will offer small grants and additional support resources to grassroots groups across the UK.

The KFC Foundation provides grants to support grassroots organisations in the communities where KFC’s restaurants are located. The Foundation works with organisations who are empowering young people in the UK to fulfil their potential by providing safe social spaces, mentoring or work, and social skills.
The Foundation aims to fund work that helps young people create firm foundations, by addressing their needs through early intervention.

Aims/priorities: The CSJ Awards finds the very best grassroot charities and social enterprises from across Britain, gives them £20,000 to scale their impact and puts them in the spotlight for senior politicians, philanthropists and business and charity leaders to be inspired by and learn from. The event is designed to give Award Winners unique opportunities to connect with other people passionate about furthering the cause of social justice in Britain.
Aims/priorities: The Urban Tree Challenge Fund (UTCF) was first developed in response to the Government’s commitment to provide millions of pounds for planting both large and small trees in and around England’s towns and cities.
Aims/priorities: Founded in 2021, the NFL Foundation UK is the charitable arm of the NFL within the UK. The Foundation aims to tackle inequality and lack of opportunity faced by young people, aged 11-20 in underserved communities across the UK. The NFL Foundation will address these challenges by providing grants, training and equipment to local community organisations, enabling young people to access activities and support that will help them understand and realise their potential.
