St Peter's Community Engagement Grant - Live Well Tameside

Aims/Priorities: We are looking to fund VCFSE organisations as delivery partners, to work with us to conduct the St Peter’s community engagement. 

The VCFSE organisations will have strong roots and connections with the people who live in St Peter’s and a strong sense of the challenges local people face. They will also have the trust and relationships to actively engage with residents to gather insight and data to inform and influence the direction of Live Well Implementation Programme. 

Who can apply? We are seeking Expressions of Interest from local VCFSE organisation(s) that: 

  • Are locally rooted within St Peters, with established services and activities that serve the local community, and embodies the Community Led Wellbeing Principles (see below) 

  • Have strong connections with large parts of the St Peter’s community, particularly those who face the worst health outcomes,  

  • Willing to collaborate with other VCFSE partners where and if it is recognised, they have stronger links and reach with a specific population  

  • Involves people with lived experience in co-producing the community engagement plan and in the delivery  

  • Use methods and approaches that are culturally sensitive and inclusive of the communities they operate  

  • Develop an engagement plan that includes face-to-face engagement ‘on the doorstep’, in public places and through incentivised events.  

Grant Amount: Up to £25,000 is available per application

We welcome expressions of interest from individual organisations, or a partnership of VCFSE organisations who can collaborate to ensure the widest engagement.
