The Economic Support Network exists to facilitate collaborative work between community, voluntary, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector organisations and volunteers who are supporting people around money, benefits, income, financial hardship and support needs and/or skills, volunteering and work.
Food Solutions Network - Improving 'food access and security' for the people of Rochdale Borough
Action Together are offering Safeguarding Adults Level 1 Alerter training for staff and volunteers of VCFSE organisations who work with vulnerable adults and want to improve their knowledge and practices around safeguarding adults from harm and abuse.
This is a time and space for community and voluntary sector groups working in Rochdale borough to come together to share information, make ‘asks and offers’, develop new ideas and connections.
The Tameside Asylum Seeker and Refugee Network brings together organisations and services who support asylum seekers and refugees.
The Oldham VCFSE Food Solutions network is a key part of the Food Partnership within the borough. The network connects closely to other sub-groupings that are formed under the poverty agenda. Led by a small foundation group, this network connects to the Oldham Food Partnership board and the Food Security Group.
The network meets on the first Wednesday of every other month.
This training is aimed at people who are the Child Protection or Safeguarding Adult Lead person in their organisation.
The Tameside Diversity Network brings together organisations and community leaders who support and work with ethnic minorties in Tameside.
The Poverty Action Group (PAG) is a place for Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) groups and partners to work collaboratively on issues we feel will help to alleviate poverty in Tameside.
Action Together are offering Part 1 of the Introduction to Bid Writing training session to groups who are thinking of applying for funding or would like a refresher on some of the key fundamentals in writing funding applications for small grants.
