In Rochdale we have a wealth of amazing groups who offer support to refugees and people seeking asylum, this event is for these groups to begin a conversation about how we can do more together and support each other.
Calling all voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations (VCFSE) in the Oldham South wards of Failsworth, Hollinwood and Medlock Vale.
Aims of the session
•To develop an awareness of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
•To have a clear idea of what to do if you are worried a child is in danger of suffering serious and significant harm
•To give staff and volunteers the opportunity of sharing ideas of best practice for safeguarding children
