DCMS Youth Investment Fund

Aims/priorities: BBC Children in Need is administering phase 1 of the Youth Investment Fund on behalf of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). 

Funding is intended to create, expand and improve local youth facilities and their services, with the goal of driving positive outcomes for young people, such as:

Community Groups wanted for Greater Manchester Rock Radio new show- The Community Mix

Greater Manchester Rock Radio is an online community radio station who are looking to support community groups and charities by offering a free slot on their new weekly Sunday Show-The Community Mix.

The one hour show will feature local community groups and national charities via a pre recoded phone call. This is a great opportunity for groups to promote the work they undertake in the community.

Westhill Endowment Trust

Aims/priorities: Grants and other resources are available to support formal and informal religious education projects and faith-motivated activities that enable people to transform their lives and the life of their communities in the UK.

Who can apply? Not-for-profit organisations, churches and cathedrals, hospitals and hospices, and higher and further education institutions both in the UK and overseas are eligible to apply.

Greater Together Manchester have been successful in securing some funding from GMCVO to develop/ deliver FREE Trauma informed training for grassroots community and faith organisations across Greater Manchester from March- September 2022.

They are currently in the consultation period and will be delivering consultation sessions for people across the region to attend.
