Background: The Home Office is committed to supporting and stabilising the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable asylum-seeking customers to reduce the likelihood of harm to the individual or wider society. Most recently (2022/2025) this commitment has been reflected by the provision of the Therapeutic Support Grant funding. The Home Office is now seeking to build on that grant’s findings.

Aims/priorities: The funding is aimed at individuals and groups of young people who are able to demonstrate that through volunteering or community service they can enhance the lives of others, particularly those most marginalised by society.

Who can apply? Applications are accepted from UK based volunteering or community service projects, organised and run by young people (under 30 years).

Grant amount: Up to £500 are available.

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to support early intervention projects that assist military families in accessing services as they relocate. These initiatives will help families integrate into their new communities and build lasting friendships.

Aims/priorities: We are committed to supporting charities that help people experiencing complex issues that don’t have simple solutions, such as homelessness, domestic abuse and addiction. These complex issues make life much harder for people, deepening trauma, impacting their health, leading to poverty and destitution, and preventing people from being able to fulfil their potential.

Who can apply? This programme is for small, local, specialist charities supporting people facing complex issues.

Aims/priorities: Established in 2015, the Fisheries Improvement Programme (FIP) is a means for the Environment Agency to reinvest fishing licence income back into projects that will provide positive outcomes for anglers.

Money for projects to improve habitat and facilities for anglers will be made available through the FIP, which comes directly from fishing licence sales.

The fund can also help fisheries become more resilient to the impact of climate change.

Aims/priorities: The funding is designed to help women enter or return to work, or transition into growing industries by gaining new skills. It prioritises women in greatest financial need and those facing significant barriers, ensuring the grant has the most meaningful impact.

Who can apply? Applications are open to females who are permanent residents within one of the eligible countries of the Federation. Preference will be given to applications from those aged 30 or over.

Background: The CABWI Lifelong Learning and Development Fund is being provided by CABWI, the awarding body for the water and utilities industries, and is managed by the CABWI charity.

Aims/Priorities: The fund supports small charities with projects that promote lifelong learning and development that enables people to enter the labour market or gain additional skills to further develop their career.

The fund aims to:
