Aims/priorities: The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund has launched a new grants strategy for 2021. This year, the Trust’s primary focus is to help support the needs of young carers and young people caught up in the criminal justice system.
Aims/priorities: The One GM Community Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. The Fund will support projects working in one of the following thematic areas:
Should the Fund be oversubscribed the first two themes will be prioritised.
Aims/priorities: The Made By Sport Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community sports groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester who are working with children and young people. The Fund aims to support organisations which are able to demonstrate that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected their ability to deliver their usual activities.
Specifically, we will fund clubs and organisations which can demonstrate that they are using sport to work towards one or more of the following outcomes:

Ashley Penty-Williams, is the CEO of St. Mark Universal Care, the charity that owns and manages Werneth Grange in Oldham.
Thursday the 30th September they are launching their new free weekly meal for anyone who is homeless or in need of our support.
The meal will be provided every Thursday at Werneth Grange, Grange Avenue, Oldham, OL8 4EL between 7pm and 8.30pm.

ABL (A Better Life) which is a partner organisation of Oldham Council would like to reach out to community groups to offer an opportunity for Lorraine Greathead who is the lead specialist stop smoking practitioner for East Oldham to come and talk to community groups/community meetings or have a stand at community events.
They are looking for Community events/groups (raising the profile of the stop smoking service and reaching people who would not normally come to us): They can offer the below advice to your community group or event;

Members of the Oldham Poverty Truth Commission met for the first time in September, to kick off a year-long exploration into the issue of poverty in Oldham.
The Commission brings together people with real experience of hardship with others who have the power, influence and/or authority to do something about it.
The aim is to build relationships and trust between local people and civic leaders that increase understanding of poverty and bring about changes in policy and practice that make a real difference.
Dr Kershaw's Hospice are very excited to announce that they will very shortly be opening a new retail location, selling furniture to raise much-needed funds for the Hospice. The soon to be launched ‘Furniture Hub’ will not only be a new store but a hub of activity, with office space, communal areas and storage facilities.

What is #BeeWell
#BeeWell is an initiative in Greater Manchester that aims to make the wellbeing of young people everybody’s business. Co-created with young people, the #BeeWell wellbeing survey will be rolled out across secondary schools from Autumn 2021 onwards to understand young people’s wellbeing. #Beewell will support schools to improve pupil wellbeing and mobilise a coalition of actors to drive positive change in our communities.
