British Ecological Society - Outreach Grants

Aims/priorities: The British Ecological Society (BES) is providing grants through its Outreach Grants programme to help promote ecological science to a wide audience. Ecology is defined by the BES as the scientific study of the distribution, abundance and dynamics of organisms, their interactions with other organisms and their physical environment.

Who can apply? All individuals and organisations that are able to organise public engagement events in ecology are eligible to apply. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Members of the BES
  • Researchers
  • Schools
  • Museums
  • Libraries
  • Community groups.

Grant amount: Grants of up to £2,000 are available
