The PCF seeks to achieve the following outcomes through the programme:
Aims/priorities: Baobab Foundation was created in 2020 with the goal of significantly scaling resourcing to Black and Global Majority communities in the UK, contributing to wealth redistribution, equitable access, solidarity and sustainability.
Funding is intended to grow, sustain and strengthen Black and Global Majority communities that are resisting racial injustice across the country.
Aims/priorities: Grants are available to local not-for-profit groups for projects which engage communities and create strong networks across the UK and have been voted for by the public.
The aim of the scheme is to allow National Lottery players to get a say in how Lottery money is spent while supporting community initiatives all over the UK.

OBA Millennium Centre are pleased to announce they are able to work with Carbon Co-Op and provide the upcoming workshops to help people get winter ready and keep your home warmer more effiiciently.
All the workshops will be led by a carbon Coop energy specialist.
Carbon Coop is an energy service and advocacy co-operative that helps people and communities to make the radical reductions in home carbon emissions necessary to avoid runaway climate change.
Aims/priorities: In response to the cost-of-living crisis Independent Age are looking to provide 25 grants of £40,000 (£1million total) to charities and community organisations to get more money into the pockets of older people and help ensure they do not have to choose between buying food to eat and heating their home this winter. Projects must be in addition to or an extension of existing work – we cannot fund business-as-usual projects.

During the final week in July, working in partnership with the Debbie Abrahams’ Summer School, Action Together hosted a work placement for student Georgia O’Dea across our Oldham team. Georgia has a passion for Politics, and will be heading to London in September to continue her studies at King’s College; she was keen to use her placement to learn more about Action Together and to gain a broader insight into how the voluntary sector operates. During her 4 days with us Georgia spent time meeting with different members of our team and learning more about their various roles.
