COVID-19 Homelessness Response Fund

Aims/priorities: The funding aims to provide emergency financial assistance to local homelessness organisations, preventing closure, service cuts or staff  redundancies threatened by increased operational costs and a loss of fundraised income due to the Coronavirus.

It will also support organisations that have needed to expand or adapt their services in light of COVID-19 to support people experiencing homelessness safely and effectively.

Grants must be for revenue expenditure only.

Who can apply? 

Covid-19 Community-Led Organisations Recovery Scheme

Aims/priorities: Covid-19 Community-Led Organisations Recovery Scheme offers grants to community organisations in England who are facing financial difficulties caused by Covid-19. The scheme is aimed at organisations delivering services in their local community to support people who are at high risk from Covid-19, with an emphasis on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME)-led or BAME-supporting businesses.

The funding must be used to:

Persimmon Community Champions

Aims/priorities: Community Champions - Each of our 30 offices across the UK makes a donation of up to £6,000 every quarter to local organisations. It's our commitment to leaving a positive lasting legacy in the communities in which we work.

Who can apply? Community groups and charities

Grant amount: Up to £6,000.00 are available.

National Lottery Coronavirus Funding

Aims/priorities: The £200 million Coronavirus Community Support Fund is part of the Government’s £750 million financial support package for charities and social enterprises during announced on 8 April 2020.

The £200 million Support Fund is being administered by the National Lottery Community Fund along with National Lottery funding to support not-for-profit organisations so that they can continue to deliver services to people and communities in England that are affected by COVID-19.

The Fund has two key objectives:

Independent Age Grants Fund

Aims/priorities: The coronavirus has changed life for everyone in the UK, but older people are amongst the hardest hit. It is humbling to see the huge efforts that are being made across the UK to make sure that older people get the practical help they need and can stay safe, healthy, connected and contributing during a long period of socially isolating. Despite the challenges they are facing, organisations are keeping vital services running, providing advice, support, opportunities, and practical help.

GC Gibson Charitable Trust

Aims/priorities: Last year the Funder supported capital equipment purchases and building refurbishment projects which provide benefit to the aged or the disadvantaged young or to the disabled.  They want to encourage projects that increase engagement for the benefit of both individuals and society.

Who can apply? Charities must be UK registered but can operate anywhere in the world.

Grant amount: Applications given out last  year did not exceed £4,000
