Community Activities
We teach youth various dancing steps relating to culture and how to develop their confidence. This would help them embrace who they are and help with their mental health and well-being.
It also helps the youth to reach out to one another and other cultures; befriending, network and teamwork.
We offer free Maths class for members.
In this, young people will learn how to play most African instruments.
We bring interested teenagers to form a unique African acting group in which there is a yearly script to follow. The production is usually screen for the member of the community at the end of the year.
On this show, we will discuss issues affecting the teenagers.
Congregational Jumma Prayer held weekly on every Friday throughout the year. We cater for all ages of Men, in which our priest/Mullah leads the prayer. Prayer are held according to the Shia Fiqa-e-Jaffari jurisprudence.

Quran Classes to the teach the children how to read the holy quran.
Teaching of the Fiqa- e-Jafari with Islamic history and morals within the western society. Cater for ages 4-12 with snacks and food served.
Islamic lectures/gathering held throughout the year in accordance to the Islamic calendar. E.g. Muharram, Ramadan, Eid etc
GCSE tuition for young children/adults.
A motivational programme that incorporates creative activities, mindfulness, breathing, circus skills and games. Children and young people help plan sessions and are empowered to have a voice and learn strategies that enable them to thrive.
When the Town Hall re-opens, it will provide a range of free, engaging events and activities for people of all ages and abilities. Times and dates to be organised.
A great place and time for families to get together and enjoy the great outdoors. Activities are creating a hedgehog street, research the wildlife in the area, orienteering, gardening including planting. Coffee mornings which are held on Tuesday and Thursdays for people who feel socially isolated
