• Raise awareness and foster an understanding amongst the residents for the need for green culture by upcycling or recycling communal landscaping and furniture and, selecting local socially responsible sustainable suppliers wherever possible.
Promoting a green culture
Youth Club delivering a range of activities and education workshops at Richmond St Community Centre, Ashton-under-Lyne.
We offer support with basic skills, Esol, digital skills and job clubs
We support carers whose partners or relatives have dementia. We advise on entitlements and meet twice monthly for a social event.
This service is open to all.
We offer a free cooked meal and support and advice
We also run a food bank and make referrals to our Charity Shop
This activity is open to all. We have access to six computers with internet access and a variety of training programmes. Our volunteers are willing to offer support to those who need it.
The lunch club is open to all. It provides a set meal each week - 2 courses for £4.50 or courses for £5.50
A meeting for those over 50. We spend an hour doing activities and chatting about a subject before concluding with a spiritual thought and a hymn.
An hour of singing - just for fun. This is an activity designed by The Salvation Army for work with, but not exclusively for, those with dementia. We sing songs both sacred and secular from people's youth or childhood.
After months of isolation we want to offer a space to meet your friends and make new ones. We want to give you the chance to re-connect with your community.
The Lounge is our new 'Pay As You Feel' Cafe. We have no set prices but ask you to give what you can afford.

A Friday night activity session for families. All ages welcome but children must be accompanied. Combination of cooking, crafts, growing and sometimes performing arts taster sessions. Takes place weekly at Greenacres Community Centre
Resource store comprising arts and crafts materials, hire equipment eg badge machines, parachute, circus kit and ideas library. Open to all.
Holiday activity sessions in Chadderton Hall Park and Foxdenton Park. Arts, crafts and games. Children under 8 must be supervised by parent/carer.
Family session, activities include arts, crafts, games and cooking activity. Activities aimed primarily at children aged 5 - 11 years although younger or older siblings welcome. Parent/carer needs to stay
