• Provide support to those with disabilities, to enable them to enjoy a ride around the park. (An activity they wouldn’t get to experience or enjoy without the adapted bikes provided at the centre) • Provide a positive and friendly environment where everyone feels safe and welcome.

  • Start Date: 18th February 2026
  • Volunteer: Weekly
  • Availability: Tuesday AM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday AM, Wednesday PM
  • Tasks: • Working with people with various disabilities.
    • Loading and unloading the bikes for hire.
    • Adjusting various specially adapted bikes.
    • Fitting Helmets.
    • Repairing and maintaining specially adapted bikes and standard bikes.
    • Cash Handling.
    • Some minor yard work to keep our area safe for customers and service users.
    • Setting up / putting away the Positive Cycles shop.
  • Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
  • Interests: Community, Disability, Health and wellbeing, Recreation
  • Suitability: 18 and over
  • Activities: Outdoors
  • DBS Check: Yes
  • Are Volunteer Expenses Reimbursed?: Yes
  • Accessibility: Step free access clearly signposted into the building, Lift to other floors / step free access throughout the building
