Soul Sisters is a volunteer-led organisation supporting women and families affected by domestic abuse through peer support, creative workshops, advocacy, and community connection. We are looking for a committed volunteer to lead key projects that help us grow and deepen our impact.
Role Overview
As a Volunteer Project Lead, you will take ownership of a specific project or initiative within Soul Sisters — for example, a creative workshop series, a peer support group, or an awareness campaign. You will plan, coordinate, and guide the project from start to finish, working closely with volunteers, staff (if any), and community partners.

- Tasks: Develop a project plan with clear objectives, timelines, and outcomes
Coordinate and support volunteers involved in the project
Liaise with community partners, venues, and stakeholders
Monitor project progress and report regularly to the team
Manage resources, budgets (if applicable), and schedules
Facilitate meetings and encourage team collaboration
Identify risks and troubleshoot challenges
Support evaluation and feedback processes to improve future work - Training: Induction to Soul Sisters and our values
Ongoing mentoring and support from Volunteer Coordinator
Opportunities for leadership development and peer learning
Volunteer wellbeing support - Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
