Time after Time e-waste Fund

Aims/priorities:

The funding is intended to support projects that aim to prevent e-waste by extending the life of small electrical items; that increase the recycling of e-waste; or that increase understanding of e-waste and reach new audiences.

The fund will focus on digital inclusion projects utilising smartphones, tablets and laptops.

The funding may be used for projects costs only - not organisational core costs.

Who can apply:

Applications will be accepted from the following types of UK organisations:

  • Charity.
  • Academic body.
  • Community Interest Company.
  • Social enterprise.
  • Registered company.
  • Local authority.

Collaboration is encouraged, and partnership applications are welcomed. The lead applicant for such applications must be a registered body in the UK.

Grant amount:

A total of £500,000 is available for projects with grants ranging in size from £25,000 to £100,000.

This year a total of £500,000 is available, with grants ranging in size from £25,000 to £100,000. The expectation is that between six and eight projects will be supported, with varying grant sizes.

Application process:

Expression of interest deadline: 20 October 2023.

After Expressions of Interest have been received, selected projects will be asked to submit a full application.
