Aims/priorities: Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) provides grants for a broad range of projects that support the delivery of positive outcomes for blind and partially sighted people across the UK.

The strategic priorities of the Trust are:

  • Acting as an advocate and positive change agent for blind and partially sighted people.
  • Creating opportunities for blind and partially sighted people seeking employment.
  • Enabling opportunities and supporting blind and partially sighted people in and entering education.
  • Facilitating the voice and encouraging self-determination of blind and partially sighted people.
  • Being an effective partner and grant funder based on knowledge of the sector.

The aim of the grants is to support new and innovative projects that achieve that support the delivery of positive outcomes for blind and partially sighted people in at least one of the priority areas of education, employment, engagement, and collaboration and sustainability.

Who can apply? Registered charities based in the UK can apply.

Grant amount: Most grants will be around £10,000 or less. However, larger amounts will be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Application process: Guidelines and access to the grants portal is available from the Trust's website.

Deadline: Sunday 5 February 2023, however, the programme may close sooner depending on demand.
