Census Support Service Contract

Aims/priorities: The United Kingdom census is a ten yearly compulsory survey that gives the most accurate estimate of all the people and households in England and Wales. The information collected from the census helps inform local authorities and government about demands for vital public services such as schools, hospitals, GP services and social care provisions.

HMRC Grant Funding

Aims/priorities: Funding is available to provide advice and support to HMRC customers who need extra help understanding and complying with their obligations and claiming their entitlements, including those who are digitally excluded. The funding is for bids that include one or more of the following activities:

Asda Foundation - Feeding Communities Grant

Aims/priorities: In response to coronavirus/COVID-19, the Foundation has created the Feeding Communities Grant scheme. The funding is to be used to provide meals for those in need in the run up to Christmas. This includes individuals, families, meals at children's healthy holiday clubs.  The grants can support the following:

UK Youth Fund

Aims/priorities: The UK Youth Fund – Covid Relief has been created to support youth organisations who have not had access to the crisis funding they require to survive the Covid pandemic.  The aim of the fund is to reduce organisational closures as a result of Covid and support the adaptations needed to ensure high quality essential services to young people can continue in both the short and long term.

Who can apply? Youth organisations with an income of under £250,000.

Grant amount:  Up to £50,000

Asda Foundation - Feeding Communities Grant

Aims/priorities: In response to coronavirus/COVID-19, the Foundation has created the Feeding Communities Grant scheme. British Council Digital Collaboration Fund

Aims/priorities: The Digital Collaboration Fund aims to address the challenge of continuing to support international artistic collaboration during COVID-19 restrictions.

Through a series of grants, this fund will support organisations to devise new virtual ways of working internationally, in turn creating a climate-friendly approach to international collaboration and artistic exchange.

There are three strands available under this programme:

GM Walking Grant - Medium

Aims/priorities:  GMCVO are managing the grants process which is funded by Greater Manchester Moving (with money from Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership).  The grants will be awarded to ideas to get more people in Greater Manchester walking while adhering to government social distancing restrictions.  

All activities must encourage people who are usually less active to start or increase the amount they walk regularly whilst adhering to government social distancing guidelines​.

The NFU Mutual Community Giving Fund

Aims/priorities: The Community Giving Fund is provided and administered by NFU Mutual, a UK registered mutual insurance composite. 

The Fund’s main areas of interest are:

  • Connecting the community; reducing social isolation, providing opportunities, and encouraging resilience.
  • Providing care and support to vulnerable members of the community.
  • Relieving poverty; improving the health and wellbeing of communities.
  • Advancing education and experiences for young people.

Aims/priorities: The Fund aims to support the activities of local community or voluntary groups and projects that contribute positively to the quality of life, wellbeing and improved health of people and communities which address any or all of the priorities listed below:
