McCarthy Stone Foundation - Dementia Grants Programme

Aims/priorities: The programme aims to support organisations providing services for people over 65 years old with dementia in areas of deprivation affecting older people in Great Britain. Memory cafes and dementia clubs are supported.

Who can apply? Community organisations, registered charities and other groups (including CICs limited by guarantee) working in England, Scotland or Wales may apply. Exempt charities will also be considered.

Music for All - Community Project Funding

Aims/priorities: The grants programme aims to give a helping hand to projects and initiatives across the UK that are seeking to bring music to their communities. The funding is for groups that need assistance to fulfil their potential in developing truly sustainable music programmes.

Who can apply? Groups, schools and organisations that are bringing music to their communities in the UK can apply.

Priority will be given to applicants who are most in need of help.

Peter Harrison Foundation

Aims/priorities: The Peter Harrison Foundation supports projects working with children, young people and adults who are disadvantaged or with disabilities. It offer small and major grants to charities and community amateur sports clubs in the UK and south east of England under the following two grant programmes:

Michael Tippett Musical Foundation

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support the two objectives of the Foundation:

  • To award grants to support the development of group music-making especially involving young people, with composing central to the project.
  • To support the performance or recording of works by Michael Tippett.

Who can apply? Projects taking place in or out of school, college or university, or in community settings in the UK will be considered.

Wingate Foundation

Aims/priorities: Grants are for registered charities operating in the charity's key areas of interest, with the aim of supporting activity which creates a significant impact on individuals and/or communities, and leaves a lasting legacy.

Who can apply? Registered charities in the UK are eligible to apply.

Applications by organisations that award scholarships or bursaries are eligible and will be considered by the Foundation.

Grant amount: Funding is at the discretion of the trustees.

Greater Manchester - Wheels and Walks Programme

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support community groups in delivering sustainable walking, wheeling, and cycling activities to people in their local area.

Successful applicants will receive a package of support including:

  • Grant funding of up to £5,000.
  • Training and development opportunities.
  • Opportunities to participate in networking and knowledge sharing.
  • General support and advice.
  • Signposting to other opportunities.

Voicescape Community Fund

Aims/priorities: The Voicescape Community Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. The Fund will focus on projects which support those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis, as well as projects that provide education and skills development.
