Aims/Priorities: The fund, provided by Ofgem Energy Redress Scheme and piloted under the scheme’s Carbon Emissions Reductions priority, aims to build the capacity of the community energy sector and deliver impactful renewable energy projects. It seeks to demonstrate how a just transition to net zero can benefit everyone.

The funding is intended to enable greater community ownership and social benefit from the historic growth in renewable energy over the next few years as the UK transitions to net zero.

Who can apply? Registered charities in England, Scotland and Wales that are registered with the Energy Redress Scheme and have passed the due diligence process can apply to the open funding rounds.

Aims/Priorities: This fund aims to support organisations to deliver SNG’s Wellbeing Champions Programme, focusing on upskilling young people aged between 10 and 20 to become Wellbeing Champions, and facilitating the space for them to plan and lead a youth social action project addressing mental health and well-being.

Aims/priorities: The Foundation aims to use its funding to improve the quality of life for people and communities that face disadvantage and marginalisation.

Who can apply? UK registered charities, community interest companies, and other registered UK not-for-profit organisations (including special schools) with an annual income under £10 million can apply.

Aims/priorities: A package of funding support including grants and loans from the Recovery Loan Fund are available for Black and Racially Minoritised charities and social enterprises based in England who are improving people's lives or the environment they live in.

Aims/priorities: The Trust's funding is intended to support its emphasis on the provision of homes, not just housing. It awards grants and interest-free loans to charitable organisations undertaking projects to provide housing for those in need.
