Who can apply? Applications will be considered from community-led partnerships that are made up of a mix of organisations from different sectors, either locally or UK-wide partnerships delivered across at least two UK countries.

Aims/priorities: The Media Literacy Taskforce Fund is providing funding to organisations piloting new methods of engaging ‘hard to reach’ citizens with media literacy initiatives. Media literacy is described as the ability to apply critical thinking skills to the messages transmitted through mass media, from print, video and the internet.
The scheme will fund pilot projects that will work through communities to engage citizens in ways that are tailored to their needs and relevant to their daily lives, delivering media literacy interventions at a local level.

Tameside Council have 30+ testing booths which were previously used at Tameside COVID testing sites. They have been cleaned down and have not been used since July 2021, so there will be no risk of COVID from the booths. The Council want to donate the booths to groups to recycle/re-use.
They are light weight and fit together by interlocking therefore, do not need screws or nails. They are light weight, but a van would be needed for transporting them.
Relax With Lucy & Co was set up to offer well-being and mental health support through the provision of mindfulness & relaxation interventions. The organisation was set up by our founder Lucy Livesey - mental health nurse and bereaved mother following the loss of her daughter Ellie in 2017.

The One Oldham Fund is a strategic single investment fund that uses pooled resources for the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector in Oldham.
This investment from Oldham Council is to improve outcomes for individuals in structured treatment plans recovering from substance and alcohol abuse and to support VCFSE organisations to make a contribution to those outcomes over time.
As we all know Tameside, Oldham and Rochdale have many voluntary and charitable organisations which do amazing work within their communities. Without the volunteers who give their time so freely, many of these groups would not survive and so it is right that these bighearted people are recognized in a significant and meaningful way. The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK.
