We would like to say a huge congratulations to our member organisation, Support and Action for Women's Network (SAWN), who have successfully achieved Action Together's Quality in Action Award!
Aims/priorities: The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is delivering the Veterans’ Capital Housing Fund on behalf of the Office for Veterans’ Affairs. The Veterans’ Capital Housing Fund supports projects that contribute to the wider aim of ending veterans’ homelessness by providing affordable and viable homes for veterans.
Aims/priorities: We want to support projects that need help to refurbish existing housing for Veterans. This could be transitional or permanent housing. Permanent housing can only include properties that are available to Veterans under a social rent; or are part of a wider facility that provides a rented home to a Veteran with the tailored support that meets their needs. This can include care homes.
You should show us how your project will meet the aims of this programme which is to refurbish existing Veterans housing and meets one or more of the following
Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support groups to create or enhance green spaces within a 5-kilometre radius of Starbucks stores that bring people closer to nature and relate to any one or more of the following themes:
Aims/priorities:
Grants are available for UK registered charities and Community Interest Companies for projects that improve the mental health and wellbeing of girls aged 10 to 17 years from diverse and low socioeconomic backgrounds by moving to music.
The funding is for UK-based community organisations to pioneer innovative, girl-first programmes that combine music and movement.
Nestled in the heart of Fitton Hill this community project, a partnership between Oldham Council and Local Food First CIC, seeks to rejuvenate a neglected growing space and fruit orchard, as well as repurpose vandalized buildings, all while nurturing the surrounding nature and wildlife.
The main aim of the project is to improve community access to affordable, healthy food, whilst transforming the allotment and hub into valuable community assets. Notably, the food grown on-site supports the Oldham Foodbank and contributes to a local Community Vegbag scheme.
Aims/priorities:
The funding will support experienced not-for-profit organisations which can create and promote opportunities for UK veterans and their families looking to enter employment, and those already in employment who have the aspiration to progress in their careers, to acquire, or work towards acquiring, supplementary qualifications, technical training and skills.
Aims/priorities: Do you want to reduce the energy costs of a community owned or managed building?
Would you like to reduce your carbon footprint by making your building more environmentally friendly?
Would you be interested in taking on a loan to install energy generating/saving technology?
