Aims/priorities: The programme is intended to provide funding, infrastructure and access to resources and networks to support the sustainability of work taking place within grassroots social justice movements.

There is also a Care and Accessibility Pot, which offers an additional sum of up to £400 per applicant in order to remove some of the barriers that may hinder groups from applying such as translation costs, childcare and the labour of writing an application.

Aims/priorities: On behalf of Freemasonry in England and Wales, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is working in partnership with Hospice UK to deliver a programme of local funding that will have a significant and lasting impact on communities across England and Wales.

This grants programme seeks to ensure that marginalised individuals and those experiencing poverty have equitable access quality care at the end of life.

Aims/priorities: The Together Fund is a Sport England initiative which supports voluntary community organisations to recover and emerge from the long-term impacts of COVID-19.

Funding is intended to support the following communities to engage in movement and physical activity:

People working most closely with communities have the best insight on how the Cost of Living crisis is affecting people. There is now a quick, impactful way to share the things you are hearing from people you are working with, that will be acted on immediately by Oldham Council and the wider partnerships co-ordinating the response.

The England Illegal Money Lending Team is offering a free online training session to frontline professionals to help raise awareness of loan sharks and illegal money lending.  The training will provide an overview of loan sharks, including how they operate and how they coerce and control people.  Participants will learn the signs to look out for and how best to support victims of this crime. 

Aims/priorities: Big Issue Invest is offering loan finance between £20,000 to £150,000 to social enterprises and charities in England, for energy efficiency and renewable energy installation.

This lending programme is aimed at enabling social enterprises and charities to access loan funding to help save money on energy during the unprecedented cost of living crisis.

Aims/priorities: The Community Grants Programme (previously the Community Investment Scheme) is part of NHS Blood and Transplant’s commitment to build support for donation amongst Black, Asian, mixed heritage and minority ethnic communities.

The funding is for community and faith/beliefs organisations to drive awareness, understanding and behaviour change. Trusted local organisations can be effective at achieving these goals due to their specialist knowledge, understanding and footprint in the community.

Aims/priorities: The Auto Trader Community Fund aims to encourage and support grassroots community organisations. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like.

Applicants must be based in one of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester and have an annual income of less than £50,000.

Aims/priorities: Amazon Literary Partnership aims to champion the voices of underrepresented writers with an eye to encourage writing and reading about a greater variety of perspectives on the world in which we live today.

Who can apply? Applicants must be a registered not-for-profit literary organisation in the UK, whose core mission is to develop emerging writers, support diversity, celebrate storytelling, and/or build authors’ careers.

Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to support collective care, as well as campaigning and other change-making activities, among communities experiencing discrimination and marginalisation.
