Aims/Priorities: These grants are to help community groups and organisations to support people to eat well and stay warm and healthy during the winter months.
Projects should be designed to deliver local resilience to the risk of crisis, this can include providing food related support and help people to keep warm.
Support must be provided to people who would be at risk of significant difficulty during colder weather including older people, people living in poverty, people who are homeless, carers and people with disabilities.
Who can apply? Community groups, voluntary organisations, community interest companies, social enterprises, development trusts and charities
All applicants will be asked to confirm that they have the appropriate insurances, governance and risk assessments in place.
Grant Amount:
- Small grants: up to £1,500
- Larger grants: up to £5,000
(Larger grants may be applied for exceptional projects)

Application Process: Applications are open as of Monday 15th of September.
A panel will meet regularly throughout the application process and will be in touch once a decision on your application is made. During this time, we may get in touch to request further information.
Where possible we will work with partners and if we feel that your application might benefit from another type of grant, we will pass your application on to them for consideration. This is to make sure as many groups are funded as possible and we will let you know if this is the case.
