Aims/priorities: The funding is for projects which can demonstrate tangible impact in either or both of the following areas:
- Housing - projects support young people (aged 16-25) into accommodation (ie, emergency, supported or move-on accommodation)
- Employability - projects support young people (aged 16-25) out of homelessness into education, employment, and training with a view to enabling their transition to sustainable, independent living.
There is particular interest in projects which meet some of the following criteria:
- Creating homes and broadening the range of housing options available to young people.
- Support young people into accommodation (emergency, supported or move-on accommodation).
- Help ensure young people do not experience homelessness in the first place.
- Work with cohorts of young people where there is an identified, growing homelessness need.
- Where the funding will make a tangible difference to the projects long-term sustainability.
