Aims/priorities: This programme aims ensure that materials relating to Jewish heritage and culture in archives, libraries, museums and professional institutions are made available to a wider audience, and to support the digitisation of material to make these collections accessible for diverse audiences
Who can apply? Any organisation or institution active in Europe (EU and non-EU states alike), whose activities are deemed charitable under UK charity law, is eligible to apply.
This includes organisations which are either not-for-profit or publicly funded and qualifying institutions are usually state or private libraries, archives, museums, research institutes, or universities.
Grant amount:
Collections Management - Funding will typically range between £30,000 and £60,000 per year for up to three years.
Exhibition Support - The maximum level of funding is requests for up to £75,000 per year for up to three years for core and temporary exhibitions.
Digital Heritage - Grants of up to £40,000 are available for an initial 12-month pilot project with an opportunity to apply for further funding.
Scoping Grants - Grants of up to £5,000 are available.
Expert/Consultant Visits - Grants of up to £2,000 are available.
Application process: For Collections Management, Exhibition Support, and Digital Heritage grants, there is a two-stage application process:
- Groups must first submit an online expression of interest.
- Successful groups will then be invited to complete a full application. The deadline to submit a full application is 24 September 2026.
Scoping Grant and Expert/Consultant Visits applications can be submitted at any time.
