Rehabilitation Grants Scheme 2026-2029

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to support evidence-based projects to reduce reoffending and facilitate rehabilitation across the criminal justice system, while enabling VCSE organisations to propose and test mechanisms that align with the recommendations of the Independent Sentencing Review.

Who can apply? Voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations based in England and Wales can apply.

Organisations can apply either individually or as part of a consortium. The voluntary sector organisation(s) receiving the grant should be a registered charity or social enterprise.

Grant amount: The total funding available under this scheme is £3 million.

Grants ranging from £50,000 to £150,000 per financial year are available for projects of between six months and three years in duration.

Application process: There is a two-stage application process.

Stage one applications must be submitted on the e-sourcing platform Jaggaer by the deadline of Monday 6 October 2025 (12 noon).

Successful applicants will be invited to submit a stage two application.
